Bravery Certificates

We’re updating our Knowledge Base

We’re currently transitioning Ardens Clinical support articles to this new Knowledge Base. Content will be added progressively, so you may find limited articles available at this stage.

In the meantime, you can access our full support resources on our existing sites:

We’ll continue to expand this site, so please check back regularly.

ℹ️Introduction

This article explains how to use the Ardens Bravery Certificates to recognise patients who have been brave during an appointment, vaccination or other procedure. By the end of this article, you will know how to locate the certificates in your clinical system, generate a personalised certificate and print it for the patient.

Background

Patients may feel anxious or worried when attending healthcare appointments, particularly when having a vaccination, blood test or other procedure. A Bravery Certificate provides a simple way to recognise and celebrate an achievement.

How Ardens Can Help

Ardens provides Bravery Certificates that can be accessed directly from your clinical system. The certificates can be generated using the patient's record, allowing relevant patient and user details to populate the document automatically.

How to Access the Ardens Resources

Via a patient record

  • Open a patient record

  • Select Add > Document > Create Letter

  • Select the magnify glass (if not in your recently used list) and search Bravery Certificates

Via a protocol

  • Press F12 on your keyboard

  • Open the National Documents Launcher (access this support article on how to add the launcher to your F12)

📃Generate and Print

Bravery certificates can be generated directly from a patient's record when needed, personalised with the patient's details.

Once the bravery certificate has launched, this will populate with the patients name.

Click into the Signed grey box to add or insert your signature.

To print the document, click File (yellow folder) > Print.

Once printed, click File (yellow folder) > Save and Close. The Bravery Certificate will be saved to the Documents tab of the patient record.
