Delivering Effective Vaccination Programmes

With autumn approaching, many practices will be reviewing how they identify eligible patients, manage recalls, record vaccination activity and monitor uptake across seasonal and routine immunisations.

To support this, we've refreshed our vaccination resources across Ardens Clinical and Ardens Manager, making it easier to manage every stage of the vaccination process. For each vaccination programme, Ardens helps you:

  • Plan – identify eligible patients, review population reports and prepare for upcoming vaccination campaigns.

  • Invite & Recall – manage invitations, recalls and follow-up activity using structured searches and reports.

  • Deliver – record vaccinations consistently using Ardens templates and protocols.

  • Monitor & Evaluate – track uptake, identify outstanding patients and monitor programme performance through Ardens Manager dashboards and evaluation reports.

  • Refreshed vaccination search folders with a consistent structure across all vaccination programmes.

  • RSV resources updated to reflect the expanded eligibility from September 2026.

  • Pertussis and HPV searches refreshed, with further adult vaccination updates coming soon.

  • Ardens Manager vaccination dashboards updated for the 2026/27 vaccination programmes and eligibility criteria.

How to Access:
→ SystmOne practices: The reports have been published to your clinical system under Clinical Reporting > Arden's Ltd > Vaccinations.
→ EMIS practices: The reports will be published in your next scheduled search update, or you can download them manually from the Ardens Portal.

Seasonal Influenza

Ardens Seasonal Influenza vaccination searches have been updated for 2026/27 to match the latest NHS England guidance. The refreshed reports and searches include new eligibility and support practices with planning, inviting and reviewing flu vaccinations for the new season.
Coming soon: Our Adult, Childhood and Pregnancy Vaccination templates and influenza vaccination protocols are also being updated for the 2026/27 programme and will be released mid-August.

COVID-19

Our searches and reports have been updated for the Autumn/Winter 2026/27 COVID-19 programme, helping practices identify eligible patients, manage invitations and monitor activity in line with the latest NHS guidance.

Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV)

From 1st September 2026, RSV eligibility expands to include patients aged 65–74 with immunosuppression or chronic respiratory disease, following updated guidance. Ardens RSV resources have been updated to support identification, invitation and follow-up for these cohorts.

Childhood Immunisations

The Childhood Immunisations search folders have been refreshed with a clear and structured system to support every stage of the vaccination programme, from planning and invitations through to delivery and evaluation.

The vaccination dashboards in Ardens Manager have been updated to reflect vaccination eligibility and 2026/27 campaigns, enabling subscribers to easily monitor each stage of the vaccination process in one place and focus follow-up activity where it is needed.
