🎯Current Average QOF Performance
We've analysed current QOF performance nationally across 1,700 practices using Ardens Manager to highlight areas where practices are already maximising QOF achievement, and understand where there are opportunities for improvement.
⬆️Highest achievement: Shingles
VI004 average - 80.66% (Upper threshold = 60%) | View on Ardens Manager
Shingles is the highest-achieving area on average nationally, with other vaccination indicators also performing well. How does your vaccination performance compare?
⬇️Lowest achievement: Obesity
OB004 average - 6.14% (Upper threshold = 30%) | View on Ardens Manager
OB005 average - 0.90% (Upper threshold = 80%) | View on Ardens Manager
The Obesity indicators stand out as among the lowest-achieving on average nationally. With achievement still in single figures, could this be an area to review and consider opportunities for improvement?
❗The surprise: Heart Failure
HF007 average - 11.14% (Upper threshold = 90%) | View on Ardens Manager
At just over 11% nationally, this was one of the figures that stood out in the data. Could missing or incomplete coding be contributing to this average result?
🫁Respiratory reviews remain low: Asthma and COPD
Achievement remains around 20% on average nationally, highlighting an opportunity for improvement. Does your practice have a robust recall system in place to capture patients still outstanding?
