🎯Supporting QOF Domains

With QOF 2026/27 delivery underway, we know many practices have questions around some areas of QOF, including the Obesity and Heart Failure domains. To assist practices, we've developed support articles, FAQs, and webinar recordings covering these topics in detail.

ARDENS MANAGER UPDATES

🖥️ Companion Mode

We’ve launched Patient Companion Mode through the Ardens Desktop, making it even easier to use Ardens Manager alongside your clinical system.

Open a patient in your clinical system and quickly open the same patient in Ardens Manager, giving you access to additional patient information, alerts and actions without having to search for them again.

This makes it easier to spot opportunities during the consultation, including outstanding QOF and locally commissioned service activity, helping improve patient care and maximise income.

🗓️ Appointment Reporting

Breakdown by Appointment Status

A new data breakdown allows users to visualise report data by appointment status. For applicable reports, use the 'Show status' toggle to display breakdown data for Complete, Unused, Booked, DNA, Blocked and Cancelled. The proportion of each status can then be viewed across other breakdown charts such as Risk or Staff, and statuses can also be used as a filter.

Timeline Filters

Users can now filter reports by the date an activity took place, using the new Timeline filter category. Choose This Month, Last 12 Months, or a custom date range. This helps practices obtain time-based activity reports (such as Extended Access appointment submissions) and easily see total appointment counts for a selected period.

🔗NHS Integrations

PDS, GP Connect and Reasonable Adjustment Flags features are now available to all users in Ardens Manager and can be found in the Patient View. Users must have patient-level data access enabled to use these features.

  • PDS: Useful for maintaining up-to-date data for the patient in their record, and ensuring this is used in communication.

  • Reasonable Adjustment Flags: Prompts clinicians to make appropriate adjustments for the consultation, and ensures they're contacted in the most appropriate manner.

  • GP Connect: Quick access to the patient record supports safer clinical decision-making.
