A new SystmOne template has been developed to guide clinicians in the initiation and management of the prescription of Semaglutide (Wegovy) in patients who are overweight or obese and have established cardiovascular disease. Built on NICE TA1152 guidance, the template gives clear guidance on assessment of eligibility, initiation and titration review. Clinicians will have a clear, accurate tool to support safe and effective prescribing for this patient group.
